When I watched the first season (which didn’t give her too much back story) it was hard to tell if January Jones was a bad actor, or if Betty is really that cold… I saw her in X-Men First Class, and she was basically the same, but it is a similar character. I feel like she’s falling into Zooey Deshanel, Michael Cera, type casting where it’s the same part, but it makes sense and they play it well, over and over.
